  • 1 lb ground pork sausage mild or spicy
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 large egg optional for extra moisture
  • ½ tsp garlic powder optional
  • ½ tsp onion powder optional

Equipment

  • Medium cookie scoop (or tablespoon)
  • Stand mixer with paddle attachment (or mixing bowl + hands)
  • Baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • Instant-read thermometer (optional, but ideal for checking internal temp)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage, cheddar cheese, and biscuit mix.
  3. Add milk and mix well with your hands or a spatula until fully combined.
  4. If using, add the egg, garlic powder, and onion powder for extra flavor and moisture.
  5. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
